FAQ at Greg Mitchell Motors
What do I need to take when I collect my new car?
When you collect your new car, you will need to take your PIN with you to sign for the car, and the driving licence of the active driver/s on collection day. You should also take proof of identity with you.
How do I find the most suitable car?
Our specialist team is always on hand to advise you on the best vehicle for you and your family and everything in between from vehicle adaptions and more. Why not browse our latest Motability offers and arrange an appointment or arrange a call back.
Are there any electric vehicles on the Motability Scheme?
Yes, there is a choice of eco-friendly vehicles, including electric and hybrid cars, available to lease on the Motability Scheme.
Why do some cars have an Advance Payment?
Some larger or high specification cars require an additional upfront payment or 'Advance Payment' as we call it. The Advance Payment covers the difference between the cost of your car and your allowance paid over the length of the agreement. It is not a deposit and is therefore not refundable. However, we have a wide range of cars available with no Advance Payment.
Am I eligible to join the Motability Scheme?
To be eligible to join the Motability Scheme, you must receive one of these disability allowances:
- War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
- Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
- Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
- Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
You will need to have at least 12 months remaining on your allowance when you apply
