BENEFITS

Your Motability Scheme lease contains everything to make your life much easier and to keep your car running in the best condition. Apart from your fuel, the benefits included are:

  • A brand-new car, every three years

  • Insurance, servicing and maintenance

  • Full breakdown assistance

  • Annual vehicle tax

  • Replacement tyres

  • Windscreen repair or replacement

  • 60,000 mileage allowance over three years for cars

  • 100,000 mileage allowance over three years for WAVs

  • Many adaptations to your car at no extra cost

  • Two named drivers for your car

What are the Finance Options for the Scheme?

There are three different payment options, and you can choose the one which suits you best.

Nil Advance Payment

Pay nothing up front – simply arrange with your local Suzuki Motability Dealer to transfer your mobility qualifying allowance to the Motability scheme. And, as the government pays your allowance directly to Motability, there are no credit checks or assessments needed

Advance payment

For more expensive cars, your qualifying allowance may not be enough to cover the cost of the three-year contract hire period. In this case, you can choose to make a one-off advance payment to cover the difference. Advance payments are paid to your Suzuki Motability Dealer and are non-refundable.

Lease for Less

If the monthly cost of the car is less than your disability living allowance or personal independence payment, you’ll receive the cashback to spend as you please. It could come in handy to cover fuel costs.

You can tailor your car to your needs by having adaptions made to your Suzuki Motability car. Your first step will be to speak with one of our Motability specialists. They’ll be able to talk you through the different adaptations that are available, which would be best suited for you and organise it for you through the partners of the Motability Scheme.

Who is eligible?

The Scheme is available to anyone who receives one of these allowances:
• Higher rate mobility part of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
• Higher rate mobility part of Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
• Enhanced rate mobility part of Adult Disability Payment
• Higher rate mobility component of Child Disability Payment
• War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
• Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)

SIGNING UP TO MOTABILITY

Signing up is easy. The Scheme has been designed so that the process to be clear and simple which allows you to have peace of mind. Once you’ve decided on the Suzuki Car for you, contact our Suzuki Motability specialist to arrange a Test Drive. Our Motability specialist will talk you through your options and would be more than happy to answer any queries you might have.

 

You’ll need to bring:

  • Both parts of your driving licence (to take a test drive)

  • Certificate of entitlement from either DWP or SPVA

  • Proof of address, (e.g. a recent utility bill or bank statement)
