Motability Scheme

Established in 1978, the Motability Scheme has helped over 600,000 people claim back their independence by making brand new cars more accessible for those with disabilities.

If either you or a family member are disabled and receive the allowances to qualify for the scheme, you could take advantage of accessing a brand-new car every 3 years, removing most of the stress that comes with owning and running a vehicle for a longer period.

What is Motability?

The Scheme provides an affordable, all-inclusive package for people with disabilities to lease a car, scooter or powered wheelchair in exchange for either all or part of their mobility qualifying allowance. The Scheme is operated by Motability Operations Ltd, under contract to Motability, a registered Charity.

Motability Adaptations

With the Scheme, you can also enquire about any additional adaptations to the car that you need to make your driving experience as smooth and easy as possible. This can include modifications to make it easier to get in and out of the car, as well as greater storage space to securely store vital equipment.
