NEW MG3 - 7 YEARS FACTORY WARRANTY (FROM 01.09.2018)

  • MG3 18MY models covered for 7 years or up to 80,000 miles (whichever occurs soonest), no mileage restriction during the first 12 months (some restrictions apply).
  • Provides free of charge repair or replacement by an Authorised MG Repairer (restrictions may apply).
  • Guarantees paintwork repairs to defects occurring as a result of manufacturing or material defect for the first 3 years (conditions apply).
  • Guarantees selected ‘wear and tear’ items that are subject to failure during the first 12 months of the Warranty period or prior to the first scheduled main service (restrictions apply).
  • Guarantees any genuine MG parts replaced under the terms of the warranty for the balance of the warranty period.

MGZS - 7 YEARS FACTORY WARRANTY (FROM 01.09.2017)

MG GS 5 YEARS FACTORY WARRANTY AND MG3 & MG6 3 YEAR FACTORY WARRANTY (FROM 01.07.2016)

  • MG GS - covered for 5 years or up to 80,000 miles(whichever occurs soonest), no mileage restriction during the first 12 months (some restrictions apply).
  • MG3 and MG6 - covered for 3 years or up to 60,000 miles (whichever occurs soonest), no mileage restriction during the first 12 months.
  • Provides free of charge repair or replacement by an Authorised MG Repairer (restrictions may apply).
  • Guarantees paintwork repairs to defects occurring as a result of manufacturing or material defect for the first 3 years (conditions apply).
  • Guarantees selected ‘wear and tear’ items that are subject to failure during the first 12 months of the Warranty period or prior to the first scheduled main service (restrictions apply).
  • Guarantees any genuine MG parts replaced under the terms of the warranty for the balance of the warranty period.

ANTI-PERFORATION WARRANTY

MG Warrants the metal body panels of your new MG car against perforation due to corrosion, which is the direct result of defects in material or manufacturing process. Perforation is defined as corrosion or rusting through of a body panel on the vehicle from the inner surface, to the outer surface (resulting in a hole).

A 7 years anti-perforation warranty applies to the MG ZS from the date of registration. The MG GS, MG3 and MG6 all carry a 6 years anti-perforation warranty from the date of registration.
For the warranty period to remain valid, it is required that you have your vehicle inspected every 12 months for the duration of the anti-perforation warranty by an MG Dealer and documented. The dealer may charge for this service. In the unlikely event, your car is affected by perforation as described above, then an MG Authorised Dealer/Repairer will replace or repair the effected panel free of charge.

In some instances, your MG will not be covered these include, but are not limited to;

Perforation due to corrosion as a result of; an accident, damage, modification, abuse, industrial fallout, or carrying corrosive or damaging materials, or external influences. Perforation due to corrosion caused by the use of non-genuine MG parts, or parts not approved by MG, including used parts.

Perforation due to corrosion resulting from a lack of maintenance, as described in the owner’s manual, misuse or abuse. An incomplete annual inspection record.

 

PARTS & ACCESSORIES WARRANTY

All Parts & Accessories purchased via and MG Dealer or Approved Repairer are covered by a 12-month warranty.

MG SERVICE PLAN

Spread the cost of your MG servicing and keep your vehicle in a roadworthy condition. Payable either by monthly direct debit or pay for the full-service plan in advance.

The MG Service Plan includes the cost of all your scheduled MG vehicles servicing, covering parts and labour. Regular servicing intervals will detect/prevent any problems your MG will experience during ownership. It is advised you service your vehicle at least once a year or every 10,000 miles (whichever comes first).

SHOULDNT I CALL MY INSURER FIRST?

1 Accident recovery is provided for unroadworthy vehicles when you call MG First and we handle your insurance claim on your behalf. If you cancel the recovery of your vehicle you will be liable for any cancellation charges incurred, or if your insurer rejects your claim you will be liable for any recovery costs incurred.

2 A courtesy car is provided subject to availability for accident repairs carried out by an MG Approved Repairer when you call MG First and we handle your insurance claim on your behalf. A courtesy car is not available for standalone glass claims or if you are claiming on MG Free Driveaway Insurance. We will provide a repairer courtesy car if the incident is your fault, or if the incident is not your fault we can look to provide a hire car of a similar size to your own vehicle.
